A couple of days ago Kate Green and Terry Forshaw from Amber books wrote to me and said;
?Hi I have just registered to use your site. I came cross it because I was looking for some images of the AD55 to be included in a book we are writing called Mega Machines.
I was wondering therefore if you could send me some images of the AD55 to be included in the book. You would receive full credit for any images used.
I hope to hear from you soon.
Best Wishes
Kate?
An hour after Kate sent her email, I received a similar email from Terry Forshaw;
?Hi Ronicus,
I amwriting from a UK publisher and we are planning a book called Mega Machines. One of the entries is for the AD55 and I notice you have some great pics on your website. I was wondering what the possibility would be of you sending us a high res of one of them to use inside the book.
Any help would be aappreciated.
Thanks and best wishes
Terry?
I agreed to supply the photos and then she replied;
?Hi Ron, thanks for your email.
The book is about a collection of the largest machines from around the world. We have almost completed the book but I am still yet to find an image of the AD55 (and also the 784C - I don't suppose you have one of those?) and we are desperately trying to find a high-res image of the machine so the entry doesn't have to be dropped.
On your site I saw the photos of the AD55 arriving on a long vehicle - which showed the size of the machine well. If possible if you could send me one of those images (I have attached a couple of low-res from your site) and maybe also one of the underground one's that would be fantastic.
Unfortunately we have very little time remaining to find these images (till the end of the week) so if you could email we over any high-res that would be great - you will receive full credit for any images used.
I look forward to hearing from you.
Best Wishes
